NS Parent Apps

At Northampton School we use a number of different platforms to help share information and keep you up to date with your child’s progress. Each of these platform is easy to use and you can find information in relation to each of these, together with details of how to access them below.

iSAMS

iSAMS is the school's Management Information System which holds all of your child’s attendance data, timetable and downloadable school reports when they become available at the end of Terms 2, 4 and 6 and allows you to complete on-line forms securely. Some of the same information can also be seen in Class Charts which means that many parents use Class Charts as the main method for monitoring their child.

There are two ways of accessing iSAMS, either using an internet browser on a computer, or your mobile, or by using an app on your mobile. Please note that some features are currently not possible to access using the app, so these must be completed through the web-based portal. We therefore advise that you set this up on both a computer and on a mobile using the app.

Class Charts

Class Charts is the system that we use to log your child’s rewards and sanctions, in other words, all positive and negative interactions whilst at school. This system records all House points, commendations, outstanding certificates, warnings and detentions meaning that we, and you, can monitor and track their behaviour leading to more effective reporting and interventions. You can also see your child’s timetable.  When you sign up to this, you will be able to see your child’s information almost instantaneously.

To create a Class Charts account please follow the instructions below.

  1. Open www.classcharts.com/parent/login
